Edie's Norwegian Flag Quilted Hot Pads

It doesn't get more "locally made" than "made upstairs"! Edie Raether, my friend and upstairs neighbor, is a master quilter. We joke all the time about how kismetic (ha!! Get it!?!) it is that two fiber artists have ended up sharing the building together.

To celebrate her first Syttende Mai living on Main Street, she's designed and crafted these lovely hot pads that resemble the Norwegian flag. 

Each hot pad is made with 100% cotton outer fabric and Insul-Bright insulation on the inside, making it safe to set hot pots and pans on. These Norwegian flag ones are the perfect size to place a 9"x13" pan straight out of the oven or on your dining table. 

Insul-Bright is metallic, so make sure not to microwave your hot pad!
