Her journey began in 2019, when she started making jewelry as a fun creative outlet while working as an apparel designer in the corporate fashion world. Gold fill is an industry-regulated term that requires the gold content of the jewelry to be at least 5% of its total weight. Gold plated, on the other hand, can be as little as 0.05%, making gold fill a significantly more durable material that you can essentially treat like solid gold.Ā
