Her journey began in 2019, when she started making jewelry as a fun creative outlet while working as an apparel designer in the corporate fashion world. At Kismetic Studios, I work hard to source affordable pieces that will last a lifetime with proper care! Unless explicitly stated, all jewelry I carry uses sterling silver, gold fill, or solid brass components - materials you can wear all the time without worrying about tarnishing.
Gold fill is an industry-regulated term that requires the gold content of the jewelry to be at least 5% of its total weight. Gold plated, on the other hand, can be as little as 0.05%, making gold fill a significantly more durable material that you can essentially treat like solid gold.
