Alexander Zemaitis started Moonrise Candle Co. in 2015, while he was still in high school in Harrisburg, PA. It's a true family business; his dad, Paul, joined the team and handled production while Alexander went to college in NYC. Eventually, Paul was able to quit his job and work on Moonrise full-time, and Alexander brought on a third partner: his boyfriend, Gabriel. After years of splitting operations between Central PA and NYC, Alexander and Gabriel relocated back in PA, and the trio moved into an expansive studio space where they produce Moonrise candles today!
