Maddie Vasiliev, an avid thrifter in Green Bay, WI, noticed that scarves -- even beautiful printed silk ones -- are often the last to go at sales. It made her sad to see these works of art sit there unappreciated and unloved, so she brought a few home to play around with, and soon, the first Silk Scarf Scrunchie was born!
