Trapper Schoepp is a Wisconsin-based singer-songwriter known for his heartland folk sound. He first gained national attention with his band Trapper Schoepp & The Shades, including a 2013 performance on The Late Show with David Letterman, and later co-wrote the song “On, Wisconsin” with Bob Dylan after developing unused Dylan lyrics from decades earlier.
Schoepp Seeds is his creative offshoot, offering thoughtfully selected plant varieties that feel a little unexpected — bold colors, strong personalities, and blooms that stand out in the garden.

As an artist myself, I'm inspired by the way Trapper has translated his ethos and aesthetic into a completely new, but complementary, medium. These seed packets are such a cool way to spread both neat plants and his music! --Gigi
These groovy seed packets are a collaboration between Milwaukee-based folk singer Trapper Schoepp and Bentley Seeds, a NY-based seed supplier since 1975. Launched in accompaniment to Trapper's album "May Day," which is inspired by agricultural tradition and renewal, the seeds spread the message of Trapper's music and encourage new people to try gardening. A QR code on the back of the packet links to Trapper's music for a multimedia experience.
