Sarah Willger began making jewelry back in 2005, working to build her brand at night while being a creative director for two national publications. In 2015, she started working on Token Jewelry full-time and, since then, has expanded the business to a team of ten. Her craftspeople make each piece of jewelry in the upstairs of Token's Eau Claire, WI shop, which they send to shops all over the country. Sarah is the mom of three boys and loves her pets, too!
Why We Love This
Why We Love This
Token Jewelry's pieces are simple, classic, and well-made: the perfect delicate touch for everyday wear! Pearls are very in right now, and this is a great way to dip your toe in the trend. --Gigi
This simple but striking necklace features a freshwater pearl that nests at the wearer's clavicle, subtly catching the light.
Details:
- 14" chain
- Pearl measures approximately .25"
- Gold fill chain and clasp
- Token Jewelry recommends removing pearls before showering, swimming or sleeping to keep them shining bright.
A word on materials:
At Kismetic Studios, I work hard to source affordable pieces that will last a lifetime with proper care! Unless explicitly stated, all jewelry I carry uses sterling silver, gold fill, or solid brass components - materials you can wear all the time without worrying about tarnishing.
Gold fill is an industry-regulated term that requires the gold content of the jewelry to be at least 5% of its total weight. Gold plated, on the other hand, can be as little as 0.05%, making gold fill a significantly more durable material that you can essentially treat like solid gold.
