Lavender and Rice Microwaveable Neck Wrap by Maddie

Maddie and I met ages ago when we worked at Fosdal Bakery in Stoughton. She's the sister of Daria, who makes fragrances I sell here under the brand Scentsitive. Clearly, creativity and good taste run in the family! Today, Maddie's main gig is advocating for kittens in need and taking care of them - talk about a dream job! Grainbow is her side project for which she makes beautiful scented hot pads.

I love that, unlike other rice packs I've had before, this one is segmented into chambers; that means the rice can't bunch all at one end. Maddie always picks out such pretty fabric, mostly sourced locally at Sew Hungry Hippie, and does high-quality sewing work. These would make a beautiful gift or special treat for yourself! --Gigi
