Spooner, WI husband-and-wife team Daniel and Tamara Herskovic started Mayana Chocolate in 2008, when Daniel - a chef trained at top restaurants in Chicago, New York, and San Francisco - wanted to develop a post-dessert memento for his catering customers to take home. He sought out the world's premier chocolatiers and developed expertise in artisanal chocolate, which Tamera - a creative with experience in event planning and architecture - shapes into a gorgeously branded product. When not busy with the long, exacting process of creating their chocolate gems, Tamara and Daniel exercise their passion for travel and world culture: among other adventures, they recently walked the 350-mile Camino de Santiago pilgrimage route in Spain!

These snack size bars are the perfect size for a midday pick me up. Sometimes I cut mine into little slices and nibble on it throughout the day, other times I gobble it like a raccoon finding a taco in the trash. Either way, delicious and indulgent :) --Gigi
