Meet the Human
Greg and Julie Macon began crafting decor as a creative hobby in 2018. They began by crafting furniture and decor for their own home and then began making it for members of the community through craft shows, Facebook Marketplace and eventually an Etsy shop.
After running a successful Etsy shop for a few years, they rebranded as 'Macon Makes' in 2021 and decided to take their creative endeavor to a full-time status. Today, they offer a variety of handcrafted wood products including furniture, decor, and tools.

This pocket flower press features an original hand-drawn bee design and is the perfect size for tucking away in your pocket or a small bag for a nature walk. It would make an excellent gift for any flower or nature lover!
Made from hand-selected hardwood sourced locally by the maker in central Michigan. This press is the smallest in size measuring 2" x 4" with 1.25" bolts making them ideal for pressing 1-3 small flowers or a couple of clovers.
All presses are made by hand and coated in an oil finish for preservation. Due to the handmade nature of the presses, each will have slight natural variations from the presses in the listing photos
Each flower press kit will include:
(1) hardwood flower press (pocket size) (2"x4")
(3) cardboard inserts
(1) instruction card
(8) pieces of reusable blotting paper
