"Uff Da" Norwegian Syttende Mai 10"x10" Folk Print

Wild Perla is the work of Maggie Hathaway, a Minnesota-based illustrator and designer creating colorful, nature-inspired paper goods. She started the brand as a way to share her gouache paintings and love of Scandinavian folk art, drawing on both her Swedish heritage.

Her work blends hand-painted elements, lettering, and digital illustration into bold florals, animals, and everyday scenes. Everything feels cheerful and a little nostalgic, with a focus on color, pattern, and making things that brighten someone’s day.

Learning about "Uff Da" and its multitude of uses is one of my favorite discoveries of living in Stoughton. This print is perfect for your Scandinavian loved one, or someone (like me) who's adopted the phrase as their own!
